Servus, a brief introduction

“Servus” is a salutation used in many parts of Central and Eastern Europe. It is a word of greeting or parting like the Italian “Ciao”. Servus originates from the Latin word for servant or slave. Yet no subservience is implied in its modern use, which has more of an “at your service” ring to it. And now we are proud to announce that we have added a new meaning to the word.
